Laundry bag

Who doesn't know the feeling... everything is ready and washed and you find some socks here and there... so I made my kids a bag for there things. They love it and guess what... they use it!!!

When I'm behind my machine I always end up with needles in my mouth because the cusion they're supposed to go on is nowhere to be found when I need it... so I made one for my machine... and I love it!!

Snuggle my baby...

So I became a mom for the 3rd time in September 2014... so very proud of my little baby girl, but who wouldn't be?
This is such a good reason to start up sewing again so I did! I always wrap my baby up like a little burrito and the blanket I used was cool but you need to take them out completely before doing anything else so... I made her a "snuggle bag".

Found some patterns online but they were mostly for newborns so I had to take it into my own hands and make it myself (with the help of the ones I found ofcourse)
My first try did turn out too small but after that it was easy to make this

Colourful coton on the outside and warm fleece on the inside...

One of my best projects yet.. used it right away and didn't put it down again.

My little girl loves to be tucked in and covered completely so this one, even though still a bit too big, is perfect for her. Keeps her warm at night an makes her sleep so very long :-D

Presents for Mona

It had been a while but at last I got back behind my machine and started sewing things again... the thing I love so much and gives me peace...

A friend of mine was pregnant with a little girl so I decided to make her a very personal gift...
Inspired by her baby girl's birthcard I made her a blanket

She is known for her love of the 'Pink Flamingo' so when I saw the fabric it was perfect. With the left overs I made her a puppet that was on the card, she had told me she loved this puppet so much so... no better gift right?

She was very happy when I gave it to her, so I hope Mona can enjoy it very much even when she gets older...
